Tre Harris Reportedly Agrees to Chargers Contract After Training Camp Holdout
Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Tre Harris' training camp holdout over a contract dispute reportedly ended on Thursday.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Harris agreed to terms with the Chargers and will sign his rookie contract.
The wideout didn't report to Los Angeles' camp on Saturday, as he wasn't signed due to a disagreement over guaranteed money in his deal.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Chargers selected Harris in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft, using the No. 55 overall pick to add him to their receiver room.
While fully guaranteed rookie deals have typically been reserved for first-round draft choices, the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans both handed fully guaranteed contracts to their respective second-round picks in May.
The signings led to the rest of the 2025 second-round rookies to pursue the same contract format, with Rapoport noting that 30 of the 32 players drafted in the second round had yet to sign with their teams at the start of Harris' holdout.
With the receiver's contract now in place, he can continue preparing for his inaugural NFL season with the rest of his teammates.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was impressed with the offseason work that Harris put in prior to his holdout.
“Whenever that deal gets done, I know he’s not gonna miss a beat," Herbert said, per ESPN's Kris Rhim. "He’s done an incredible job. He’s picked up the offense pretty quickly.”
Harris is coming off an impressive senior season at Ole Miss in 2024, hauling in 60 receptions for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns in just eight games.
He should be able to contribute immediately as a rookie, especially with Chargers receiver Mike Williams retiring from the NFL on Wednesday night.
