
ESPY 2025 Winners, Awards Results, Recap, Top Moments and Twitter Reaction
ESPN hosted the annual ESPY awards on Wednesday, awarding the top athletes and teams from the past year.
Along with athletes and teams being honored, Oscar Robertson received the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage and Penn State women's volleyball coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley received the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance.
Greater Los Angeles first responders and former athletes David Walters and Erin Regan also received the Pat Tillman Award for Service.

Simone Biles won Best Championship Performance over Stephen Curry, who led Team USA to Gold in Paris, Freddie Freeman, who starred as the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series, and Rory McIlroy, who won his first Masters to complete a career grand slam.
With the help of the USC marching band, College GameDay's Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee and Desmond Howard paid tribute to Lee Corso, who will be a part of the show for the final time this season. Corso also gave a heartfelt speech.
Diana Taurasi and Alex Morgan, who retired from basketball and soccer, respectively, this year, won the ESPYs Icon Award.
After Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won Best Athlete, fans gave their thoughts about whether he deserved it over Shohei Ohtani, Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley.
This year's ESPYs gave fans a look back at the year in sports, from the gold-medal winning performance at the Olympics to championship runs by teams like the Philadelphia Eagles and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
For the nominees who came up short of winning, they'll look to comeback to the ESPYs next year to collect some hardware.
