WWE NXT Results, Winners, Live Grades and Highlights After Great American Bash 2025

Chris MuellerJul 15, 2025

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of WWE NXT on July 15.

This was the post-Great American Bash episode, so it dealt with all of the fallout from Saturday's event.

None of the titles that were on the line changed hands, but we did see a couple of surprises this weekend. Not only did Je'Von Evans defeat the gigantic Jasper Troy, but we also saw Blake Monroe turn on Jordynne Grace one day after they successfully teamed up at GAB.

During Grace's NXT women's title bout at Evolution, Monroe hit her with the belt, severing their alliance and kick-starting a feud in the process.

Let's take a look at how WWE addressed the events of this past weekend on Tuesday's episode of NXT.

All of the Champions Want More Gold

1 of 6
WWE - Evolution

NXT opened with a recap of the events of Great American Bash and Evolution before we went to the arena for Fatal Influence's entrance.

Jayne alluded to Jazmyn Nyx being the reason they lost at GAB but said she and Fallon Henley redeemed themselves at Evolution.

Masha Slamovich from TNA showed up and said Blake Monroe is the only reason Jayne still has her title. Jayne said she would win the Knockouts title before Zaria and Sol Ruca interrupted her.

The babyfaces ended up sending the heels out of the ring when it turned into a fight. This was obviously done to set up a six-woman tag at some point.

This was a pretty standard heel promo segment for Jayne. She has done a good job so far as the women's champion in NXT, but it feels like her group is getting close to ending. WWE would be wise not to stretch it out too long before people stop caring.

Grade: C

Notable Moments and Observations

—Jayne said her voice was damaged in her match with Grace.
—Masha's mic wasn't working and it was a little awkward, but Henley saved it by giving her a working one.
—This was one of the first times one of the Speed champions was able to wear their belt to the ring for a non-Speed segment.

DarkState vs. Mike Santana, Trick Williams and Joe Hendry

2 of 6
WWE - NXT Great American Bash

Three men who will be fighting over the TNA title at Slammiversary this weekend teamed up for a six-man tag match.

Mike Santana, Joe Hendry and Trick Williams took on three members of DarkState just days after they got into a fight at GAB.

Santana took a big dive over the top rope to take out all four members of the group to get the action going. Saquon Shugars and Santana were the first legal men for their teams. Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin were the other two members of DS who worked the match while Cutler James stayed outside the ring.

Once DarkState regained its footing, Griffin took control as the show went to a break. It took until a couple of minutes after we returned for Santana to make the hot tag to Hendry.

This match followed a familiar pattern. It got more chaotic as it went and had a couple of fun moments, but things broke down when The System from TNA showed up and went after DarkState.

Most of the match was fine, but nothing of note happened until the throwaway ending, so it ended up being a bit of a wash.

Result: No-Contest

Grade: C+

Notable Moments and Observations

—Williams, Hendry and Santana teaming up a few days after Hendry and Santana put Williams through a table is one of those booking decisions that you just have to laugh at sometimes. WWE loves pairing future opponents together for tag matches.
—Griffin has already gotten pretty good at the facial expression aspect of wrestling.
—In the grand scheme of things, there is no reason why Williams should want to help Santana and Hendry. He shouldn't have wanted to tag in at all.

Karmen Petrovic vs. Kali Armstrong

3 of 6
WWE Archive

Karmen Petrovic and her katana were out next to take on Kali Armstrong for the Evolve women's title.

The match was only going for about a minute before Grace showed up and took out both women to cause a no-contest finish. She called out Monroe to explain her actions at Evolution.

Monroe appeared on the big screen from her tub to respond.

Result: No-Contest

Grade: Incomplete

Notable Moments and Observations

—Robert Stone is always willing to take a bump to put someone else over. You have to give the guy credit for being a team player.

Tony D'Angelo vs. Luca Crusifino vs. Channing 'Stacks' Lorenzo

4 of 6
WWE Archive

The Family is in shambles and this week saw Tony D'Angelo, Luca Crusifino and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo do battle in a Triple Threat match.

All three have good reasons to hate each other, so it was every man for himself. There were no temporary alliances being made right away. All three men were throwing hands from the moment the bell rang.

Stacks tried to retrieve a crowbar he had planted only to find it had been removed, which gave Tony D the chance he needed to take control.

Even though Luca was a big part of the match, it felt like the feud between Stacks and Tony D took priority. They have been fighting for several weeks, so they have had more time to build up tension.

The Don ended up spearing Stacks through the wall below the crow's nest and then threw him back through the hole. He put Luca through the announce table before hitting Stacks with his finisher for the win.

Most of this match was business as usual, but the last couple of minutes picked up and turned into a fun outing.

Result: D'Angelo defeated Stacks and Crusifino

Grade: B

Notable Moments and Observations

—WWE aired a couple of videos to hype this match.
—The spot when someone tries to do a German suplex from the apron while the other guy holds on is always weird because it looks like the guy trying to perform the move would get hurt just as much.
—The crowd really got behind Crusifino.
—Booker T thought Crusifino was an accountant instead of a lawyer.

Fatal Influence vs. Masha Slamovich, Sol Ruca and Zaria

5 of 6
WWE - NXT Great American Bash

Josh Briggs came out to explain why he turned on Yoshiki Inamura. Oba Femi told Briggs he would have won either way but Briggs ruined the match because of his jealousy. Inamura showed up and it broke down into a fight that was quickly broken up.

This week's main event was the six-woman tag match set up during the opening segment with Jayne, Nyx and Henley taking on Ruca, Zaria and Slamovich.

Fatal Influence took control after the initial opening and had Slamovich cornered, but the TNA Knockouts champion fought back until it was down to her and Jayne.

The heels had control heading into the break and kept Ruca isolated from her team. We returned to see Zaria get the hot tag shortly into the final segment.

Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley came out and all hell broke loose as The Culling got into a fight at ringside. Slamovich was able to get the win for her team by pinning Jayne.

Result: Slamovich, Ruca and Zaria defeated Fatal Influence

Grade: B-

Notable Moments and Observations

—Briggs claiming he has had some of the best matches in NXT history was almost funny because it was so untrue.
—Jayne's hurricanrana to Masha looked great.

The Final Word

6 of 6

Tuesday’s NXT had to deal with the events of The Great American Bash and Evolution while also helping to hype TNA Slammiversary this weekend.

While the show managed to juggle all of the storlines well enough, it seemed to be lacking a bit in terms of in-ring action.

The Triple Threat involving Tony D, Stacks and Crusifino was the best match of the night, but it was only the last couple of minutes that made it stand out above the rest. Everything else fell in line with the rest of the show.

The women's division got a lot of attention with the opening and closing segments of the show, which was great to see. Jayne has had some doubters during her reign so it's great to see management taking the time to feature her as a top star.

The relationship with NXT and TNA continues to be a regular fixture, so it will be interesting to see if either champion loses their title at the pay-per-view this weekend.
