Angel Reese Continues Double-Double Streak as Napheesa Collier, Lynx Beat Sky
Angel Reese put together a strong game on Monday, but her team's struggles continued as the Chicago Sky fell to the Minnesota Lynx 91-78.
Reese recorded her ninth consecutive double-double, putting up 22 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 9-of-14 from the field in 36 minutes. A season ago, Reese recorded a WNBA record 15 consecutive double-doubles, and she's looking to reach that mark and better this year. Monday's performance got her one more game closer.

Reese is having a fantastic second season, putting up 13.6 points and 12.8 rebounds per game.
But even though Reese is excelling, Chicago's struggles have continued this year after finishing 13-27 a year ago. The Sky won back-to-back games for just the second time this season coming into Monday's game, but were no match for the Lynx, who hold the best record in the WNBA.
The Sky actually put together a solid game on offense as Rachel Banham posted 15 and Rebecca Allen added 10 off the bench to go along with Reese's 22. The team shot 43.8 percent from three. Still, Minnesota overpowered Chicago.
MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier led the way for the Lynx with 29 points, enough to get Minnesota back in the win column after losing back-to-back games for the first time this year.
The Sky aren't out of the playoff race just yet, but they'll need to string together some wins if they want to avoid missing the postseason again.
