Mark Andrews Jokes He Had to 'Eat a Lot of S--t' After Ravens' Playoff Loss to Bills
Mark Andrews — yes, the Mark Andrews who dropped a playoff-costing pass for the Baltimore Ravens against the Buffalo Bills nearly six months ago — is finally able to joke about the moment.
The tight end told The Baltimore Banner's Jonas Shaffer on Friday he’s had “to eat a lot of s--t in the last however long it’s been” since the infamous drop.
After all, Ravens fans can be ruthless – and it was the playoffs.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 29-year-old Raven has come to terms with the incident as the 2025-26 season rapidly approaches — and fittingly, Baltimore opens its season against none other than the Bills on Sept. 7.
“But I’m excited to go show who I am, what I can be and what I can help this team with, because I’m not done yet,” Andrews added.
On Jan. 19, Andrews struggled in the fourth quarter of the Divisional Round playoff game as the Ravens trailed by five with 8:45 remaining. He caught a pass from quarterback Lamar Jackson near the 45-yard line but was lightly tapped by Bills defender Terrell Bernard, causing him to fumble the ball.
Shortly after, the Ravens came within inches of tying their playoff game against Josh Allen and the Bills. With just over a minute and a half left in regulation, Jackson connected with Isaiah Likely for a touchdown, cutting Baltimore’s deficit to two points.
Going for two, Jackson looked to hit Andrews in the end zone. What looked like a perfect, go-ahead conversion slipped through the tight end’s hands — denying Baltimore the chance to force overtime.
It felt like the end of the world for Baltimore fans — and certainly for Andrews at the time — but with the new season just under two months away, the past is in the past.
