
Angel Reese Double-Doubles as Sky Beat Paige Bueckers, Wings to Sweep Season Series
The Chicago Sky have had their way with the Dallas Wings this season.
An 87-76 victory over Dallas Wednesday at Wintrust Arena secured a season sweep over the Wings and helped the Sky push forward in the Eastern Conference standings.

Chicago won the earlier matchups by five-and-11 point margins and now have built up a five-game winning streak over the Wings that dates back to May 2024.
The Sky held just a one-point advantage heading into the second quarter but a 26-19 edge in the second quarter gave Chicago an eight-point halftime lead. The Wings would respond with a strong third quarter but were unable to move past the deficit.
Sky forward Angel Reese scored 15 points and added 11 rebounds, one assist and one block. She went 6-of-10 on field goals and was 3-of-5 from the free throw line.
Wings rookie guard Paige Bueckers' contributed 17 points while adding four assists, three rebounds and two steals.
The Sky were led by Rebecca Allen, who had 27 points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks off of the bench. Other notables included Rachel Banham, who had 11 points, two assists and two steals.
Dallas was led by Li Yueru, who had 18 points and 10 rebounds while J.J. Quinerly had 16 points, five assists and three steals.
Chicago improves to 6-13 with the win while Dallas falls to 6-15. The Sky will take on the Minnesota Lynx in their next game on Saturday while Dallas will take on the Indiana Fever on Sunday.
