Wimbledon 2025 Women's Semifinal Bracket TV Schedule, Start Time and Live Stream
We are down to the last four in the women's draw at Wimbledon.
And boy, was it fun getting to this point.
Indeed, for the first time in the Open Era, three of the top-five seeds were eliminated in the 1st Round of a women's major.
On Thursday, 23-year-old Amanda Anisimova will aim to become the first American woman to reach the Wimbledon final since Serena Williams in 2019.
But the 13-seed faces a tough task in top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka, who is looking to reach her fourth consecutive major final.
In the other semifinal, five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek will face Belinda Bencic, who is the first Swiss woman to reach the Wimbledon semifinals since the legendary Martina Hingis in 1998.
The women's singles semifinals will take place on Thursday and start at 8 a.m. ET. Both matches can be viewed on ESPN and live-streamed on ESPN+.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Sabalenka (-250) is favored against Anisimova (+195), while Swiatek (-300) is favored over Bencic (+235).
Sabalenka is the tournament favorite (-130), followed by Swiatek (+180), Anisimova (+600) and Bencic (+1400).
No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka vs. No. 13 Amanda Anisimova
1 of 2
Aryna Sabalenka and Amanda Anisimova will meet for the ninth time in their careers.
Anisimova is one of the few players who has been able to trouble the top seed in the past.
Indeed, the American leads the head-to-head battle 5-3.
But Sabalenka has won three of their last four, including their past two Grand Slam matches.
However, Sabalenka's path to get here has been anything but easy.
In the quarterfinal, Sabalenka dropped her first set of the tournament and needed just under three hours to defeat world No. 104. Laura Siegemund,
Meanwhile, Anisimova defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in a tightly contested two-setter to reach her first semifinal at the All England Club.
So, what should we expect for Thursday?
As aforementioned, Anisimova has been a tricky opponent for Sabalenka, given her impressive return game, blistering groundstrokes, and equally capable serve.
The 23-year-old American has won 73 percent of her first serve points and has broken her opponents' serves 24 times so far.
Sabalenka has been equally impressive in every category.
While Sabalenka enters as the favorite to win according to FanDuel Sportsbook, Anisimova is more than capable of pulling off the upset, and considering her non-stop baseline aggression and second-serve return play, she can compete on near-equal ground.
Expect this one to go three sets, with Sabalenka doing just enough to escape in the final moments.
Prediction: Aryna Sabalenka over Amanda Anisimova in three sets
No. 8 Iga Swiatek vs. Belinda Bencic
2 of 2
Iga Swiatek has experienced a breakthrough at the All England Club this year.
For the first time in her career, she has reached the Wimbledon semifinals.
On Thursday, she'll face Belinda Bencic, who stunned seventh-seeded Mirra Andreeva in straight sets, becoming the first Swiss woman to reach the Wimbledon semifinals since Martina Hingis in 1998.
Swiatek leads the head-to-head 3-1, including triumphing in a three-set thriller in their most recent match at Wimbledon just two years ago.
Swiatek has dropped just one set in her five matches while winning at least 70 percent of points on her first serve in each.
But more importantly, she's found her trademark consistency and aggression from the baseline, committing 50 unforced errors in her last three matches.
Bencic has also been playing exceptionally well recently.
The 28-year-old enters the semifinals after stunning 18-year-old wunderkind Mirra Andreeva in straight sets.
Swiatek will enter as the heavy favorite, considering the way she's played this week as well as her success in the head-to-head battle.
While Bencic has a capable serve and strong baseline play, this is Swiatek's match, and she is expected to prevail.
Prediction: Iga Swiatek over Belinda Bencic in two sets
