Angel Reese Says Viral Video of Hitting Sky Coach's Clipboard Was 'Heat of the Moment'
Angel Reese was not happy in the final minute of Tuesday's 81-79 loss to the Washington Mystics and took it out on a clipboard.
The Chicago Sky star knocked the clipboard out of the hands of Ann Crosby—who is listed as the team's vice president of basketball operations, strength and conditioning—as she was walking back to the bench.
After the game, Reese took to social media and said, "Those **** were pissing me off shoutout to Ann because she know it was the heat of the moment and she didn't let me apologize because she knew! Not happening again tho."

It was a difficult loss for the Sky, who fell to 5-13 on the season.
Reese tied the game with two free throws with 14 seconds remaining only for Chicago to foul Shakira Austin with two seconds left. Austin made both free throws, and Rachel Banham's ensuing heave did not fall.
The LSU product was also frustrated after Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Lynx and pleaded for the WNBA to fix its officiating.
"I think this is a leaping step for us, and obviously we know we can compete with the best, but [the officiating] has to be fixed," she told reporters. "And I don't give a damn if I get fined because that s--- is cheap, and I'm tired of this s---. 'Cause I've been nice, and I've been humble with it, but I am tired of this s---."
She also took to social media and told the WNBA to "DO BETTER" after that loss.
At least Reese played well on an individual level in Tuesday's loss. She posted 22 points, 15 rebounds and four assists, which extended her streak of double-doubles and games with at least 15 rebounds to six.
She has taken notable strides in her second season and will play in her second All-Star Game in two career seasons on July 19.
However, the Sky have struggled to string together wins in 2025 and have now lost two straight following the latest setback.
