At 73 years old, Carroll is the oldest coach in the NFL. He spent the 2024 season as a senior advisor to the Seattle Seahawks before opting to return to the sidelines with the Raiders, bringing his infectious energy to a franchise that has one winning season in the last eight years.
Crosby added that he respects Carroll's commitment to turning the Raiders around, and he's prepared to do the work necessary to get the franchise back to prominence.
"Pete creates that culture where everyone knows it’s hard," Crosby said. "You’re going to work your ass off, but you’ve got a whole group and an organization of people that all got to be on the same wavelength and go in the same direction. That’s one of the hardest things you could do."
