Angel Reese Records 16 Points, 17 Rebounds as Hailey Van Lith, Sky Lose to Lynx
Fresh off of being named to her second straight All-Star Game, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese did her best to keep up with MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx.
Unfortunately, Reese and the Sky came up short with an 80-75 loss on Sunday. Reese had a solid performance and recorded her fifth straight double-double with 16 points, 17 rebounds and six assists, while Collier finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

Reese continued to show the aggressive play that earned her Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors last week. She showed no fear going up against Collier, though her efficiency once again left a little to be desired as she shot 7-of-15 from the field, and she finished with a game-high six turnovers.
The Lynx managed to pull away thanks to a big night from Courtney Williams, who had a game-high 25 points while adding eight rebounds and six assists. Collier shot 7-of-16 from the field but came through with some timely buckets.
Rachel Banham led the Sky with 20 points while shooting 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. Chicago didn't get much from its reserves with just five points off the bench. Rookie guard Hailey Van Lith was held scoreless on 0-of-3 shooting.
Reese has been on a tear lately, but the Sky are still having trouble finding consistency. After falling to 5-12, Chicago will try to regroup when it faces the Washington Mystics (8-10) on Tuesday.
