Angel Reese Wears 'Mebounds' Shirt, Tries to Make as Much 'Sleeping as When I'm Awake'
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is turning a joke into a profit with her new merchandise.
Ahead of Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Lynx, Reese was seen wearing a "Mebounds" t-shirt, showing off her new trademark that was originally used as a way to mock her rebounding style.
Reese spoke to reporters before the game and explained her approach to promoting herself off the court.
"I try to make as much money when I'm sleeping as [when] I'm awake," she said around the 1:45 mark. "I think my team does a great job putting me out there, we have a lot of great things coming. To be able to have my own brand, and revenue shares obviously is something that we're negotiating with our CBA, why not be able to do it with my own brand right now and benefit off of it?"
Reese has been on fire as of late, averaging 17.3 points and 17.5 rebounds over her last four games. She will be trying to help the sky earn a second straight win on Sunday against the Lynx.
