Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw Logoman Card from 3,000th Strikeout Game Revealed By Topps

Andrew PetersJul 3, 2025

Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw reached a historic milestone on Wednesday when he notched his 3,000th career strikeout.

Now, he has a baseball card to honor the moment.

Topps revealed Thursday a 1/1 Kershaw card that features the MLB Logoman from Kershaw's game-worn jersey. Fans who buy the Topps Now base card will have the chance to pull the one-of-a-kind card.

Kershaw picked up his 3,000th career strikeout in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox. Kershaw relished in the moment, showing love to the home crowd at Dodger Stadium.

Kershaw is just the 20th pitcher in MLB history to record 3,000 strikeouts and is the first to reach the mark since Max Scherzer joined the club in 2021. Kershaw, Scherzer and Justin Verlander, who reached the mark in 2019, are the only active pitchers with 3,000 or more strikeouts.

Most pitchers to log 3,000 strikeouts go on to become Hall of Famers, and Kershaw seems like a lock to be enshrined in Cooperstown when he's eligible.

For now, he'll look to continue reaching milestones.

Kershaw is already a 10-time All-Star, three-time NL Cy Young Award winner and an NL MVP. He added to his resume last season when he won his second World Series.

This season, Kershaw is 4-0 with a 3.43 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP. He had a bit of a rough start to the year, logging a 5.17 ERA in his first four appearances, but he's turned things around as of late, recording a 2.28 ERA across five starts last month.

Behind his strong pitching, the Dodgers sit atop the NL West at 55-32.
