The celebrity softball game will begin after MLB's top prospects compete in the All-Star Futures Game to start a doubleheader at the Atlanta Braves' Truist Park.

The rosters feature two former Olympic softball players in former infielder Natasha Watley and former pitcher Jennie Finch. Watley was the first African-American player to represent the United States in the Olympics.

Both women won gold with Team USA at the 2004 Athens Games and silver during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Six-time Cy Young Award winner CC Sabathia, who was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2025, is the only celebrity on the players' roster with MLB experience.

Former MLB catcher Javy Lopez, a member of the Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame who won a World Series with the team in 1995, will serve as a manager during the event.

The MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball game will stream on MLB.TV, the MLB website and the MLB app around 8:30 p.m. ET on July 12, according to MLB.com. A recording of the game will run on MLB Network on July 14 at 1 p.m. ET.

All-Star Week will continue with the start of the 2025 MLB draft on Sunday, July 13.

A Home Run Derby featuring the Braves' Ronald Acuña Jr. and the Seattle Mariners' Cal Raleigh takes place the following Monday, followed by the 2025 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday.

The All-Star starters will be announced on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. The New York Yankees' Aaron Judge and Los Angeles Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani have already clinched spots on the rosters.
