Yankees' Aaron Judge, Big League Chew Team Up for 'Grand Slam Grape' Flavor
New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is teaming up with Big League Chew to launch a new flavor of bubble gum: “Grand Slam Grape.”
The name couldn’t be more fitting for the Yankees’ slugging outfielder, who has launched nine career grand slams—tied for third among all active players.

Judge has recorded nine career grand slams in 3,875 at-bats. He also has 345 home runs in his career and 783 RBI.
The 33-year-old has long held a superstition around his gum chewing when he plays as detailed back in 2017.
Judge’s game-day ritual kicks off just before the first pitch—and it all starts with bubble gum. He tosses two pieces of sugar-free Dubble Bubble–sure to now be replaced by his signature gum–into his mouth, and the rules are simple: as long as he keeps hitting, the gum stays. A base knock in his first at-bat? He keeps chewing. Another hit? Still in.
“Hopefully, by the end of the night, I’ve got a nasty, flavorless wad in my mouth,” Judge said.
Judge has one grand slam under his belt this season—and with the launch of his new signature gum flavor, maybe “Grand Slam Grape” will bring a little extra pop to his bat.
