Pirates' Dennis Santana Appears to Take Swing at Fan on Video During Game vs. Tigers
The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Detroit Tigers 8-4 in the second game of a doubleheader Thursday, but the outcome was far from the only thing that made headlines.

Video showed him leaping up toward the fan, who was seated near Pittsburgh's bullpen, and then taking the swing before he was escorted away and held back.
Dave Hogg of the Associated Press noted the fan seemed to be wearing a Tigers hat along with a shirt honoring Pirates legend Roberto Clemente.
Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reported the Tigers said the fan was ejected from the stadium.
"You guys know me," Santana told reporters after the game. "I'm a calm demeanor type of person. I've never had any issues for any of the teams that I've played for. I guess the guy crossed the line a few times."
The 29-year-old ended up pitching in the contest, although his appearance was short-lived.
Santana faced a single batter in the ninth inning and retired Zach McKinstry before the game was delayed by rain. He did not take the mound when play resumed, as David Bednar entered and retired the next two batters to force extra innings.
Pittsburgh cruised from there with four runs in the top of the 10th, the last two of which came on an RBI single by Isiah Kiner-Falefa.
Detroit didn't score in the bottom of the 10th, although it can at least take solace knowing it split the doubleheader thanks to a blowout 9-2 victory in the first contest.
