Browns' Shedeur Sanders Cited, Fined for Speeding Twice in June
Shedeur Sanders received two citations for driving over the speed limit in Ohio this June, according to court records obtained by ESPN.
Fox 8 in Cleveland initially reported that police records from Strongsville, Ohio, stated Sanders was cited on June 17 for allegedly driving 101 miles per hour on a road with a 60 mph speed limit.
According to a new report from WKBN 27 in Youngstown, Sanders was also cited by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for allegedly driving 91 miles per hour through a 65 mph zone in Brunswick Hills on June 5.

Sanders failed to appear for a Monday arraignment for the June 5 citation and is subject to $269 in fines and court fees, according to ESPN.
He can either appear in court on July 3 or pay a $250 fine for the more recent citation, ESPN reported.
Browns spokesman Peter John-Baptiste told cleveland.com's Alex Darus that the team has spoken with Sanders about the incidents and that "he is taking care of the tickets."
Browns minicamp took place from June 10-12. Sanders remained with the team afterwards for a rookie orientation, according to Darus.
Sanders was selected by the Browns this spring after falling to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft. The former Colorado standout is listed as fourth on the team's unofficial depth chart behind with Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel.
Pickett received the most time with the Browns' top offensive unit in minicamp, but Sanders got increased reps with Cleveland's second-team offense as practices progressed, according to cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot.
Cabot wrote on June 14 that Sanders is a long shot but could "remain in the conversation" to be the Week 1 starter with a strong preseason for the Browns.
