Paige Bueckers Gets Custom 'Shirley Temple' Flavor from Gatorade, Bottle Seen in Photo
Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers debuted the new Gatorade flavor made in her honor following her team's 80-71 win over the Golden State Valkyries on Tuesday night.
During the postgame press conference, Bueckers displayed a Shirley Temple-inspired flavor of the sports beverage:
As one might've surmised by Gatorade calling it "Paige's Favorite Flavor," Bueckers is a fan of the drink, which consists of ginger ale/lemon-lime soda, grenadine and maraschino cherries.
The Wings star made history when she signed an endorsement deal with Gatorade in November 2021. She was the first college basketball player to pen an NIL contract with the company.
It was a wise investment as Bueckers went on to lift a national championship in her final season at UConn en route to being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft.
Through nine games this year, she's averaging 17.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.1 steals.
