The Panthers just enjoyed a fantastic playoff run, winning 16 of 23 games en route to the Cup. Florida scored 94 goals, including 28 against the Oilers. Sam Bennett won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP, finishing with a team-high 15 goals, including five against the Oilers. He also added eight assists.
Sam Reinhart shut the door on Edmonton in Game 6, scoring four goals en route to 11 for the playoffs. With his Game 6 performance, Reinhart is now just one of six players to score four goals in a Stanley Cup Final game and the first since Maurice Richard in 1957.
Florida has also now made the Stanley Cup Final in three straight years. The Panthers also won the Eastern Conference in 2023 but fell to the Vegas Golden Knights four games to one.
However, the Panthers now rule the NHL after back-to-back Cups, and fans will properly celebrate them this weekend.
