Dolphins' Tyreek Hill Calls Out Noah Lyles in Video After Running a 10.15 in 100m Race

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is getting closer to a 10-second 100-meter time as he prepares for his upcoming race with Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles.

Hill posted a video on Friday of himself clocking a time of 10.15 seconds in an 100-meter race, then holding up a sign reading "Noah could never."

Hill was running in the men's 100-meter preliminary race at the Last Chance Sprint Series in Sherman Oaks, California.

He beat out West Texas A&M runner Isaac Botsio, who won the 2024 NCAA DII championship in the 100-meter race, for the fastest time in the race.

Hill, who Oklahoma State reports ran a 20.14-second 200-meter race in high school, has previously claimed he could beat Lyles in a race.

Lyles defended his claim as the fastest man in the world by winning gold in the men's 100-meter at the 2024 Paris Olympics with a time of 9.784 seconds, just 0.005 seconds faster than silver medalist Kishane Thompson of Jamaica.

Hill and Lyles told People Magazine in February that they were planning a race after months of challenging one another in interviews.

When asked about the race's distance, Lyles told People's Natasha Dye that "if it was 100-meters, it'd be a blowout, you know, we gotta meet in the middle."

It looks like Hill has since been working to challenge that assumption.

The date of the race had yet to be finalized at the time of the People interview. Dye reported that Hill and Lyles planned for the event to take place before the 2025 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships start on July 31.
