Nick Chubb Posts Thank You to Browns Fans, Says Cleveland 'Deserves' a Winning Team
This week marked the end of an era as Nick Chubb signed with the Houston Texans, ending his seven-year run with the Cleveland Browns, who drafted him in 2018.
Chubb issued a heartfelt thank you to Browns fans and told the fanbase that they deserve a winning season after years of struggle.
"This city deserves a winning season every year. It's earned it," Chubb wrote. "This city doesn't quit. The people never stop believing. And my Brothers in that locker room, will never stop fighting. Cleveland's time is now… and not because they are owed anything, but because RESILIENCE ALWAYS WINS. Just like we preached everyday in meetings."

Re-Drafting Every Team's Worst Draft Pick of the Century 😡
Chubb had an outstanding run in Cleveland, earning four Pro Bowl nods and rushing for 1,000 or more yards from 2019 to 2022. He was also named to the All-Pro team in 2022 when he had 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns.
But while Chubb experienced individual success with the Browns, the team had little to show for. The team had just two winning seasons while he was in Cleveland, winning one playoff game during that period.
As he joins a new team for the first time in his career, Chubb has his own well-being in mind. He's looking to bounce back after two injury-ridden seasons while also helping a young Texans team find success. Still, Chubb clearly wants nothing but the best for his former squad.
