Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and C.J. Stroud round out the top five.
Per the NFLPA's official release, Barkley is the first running back to finish No. 1 on the list since Ezekiel Elliott in 2017, coming off his stellar rookie season with the Dallas Cowboys.
Daniels is the first rookie quarterback to make the top five on a year-end list since Mac Jones in 2022.
Even though Mahomes ranked second in overall merchandise sales, he dominated most categories outside of jersey sales. The Chiefs superstar ranked No. 1 in Forever Collectibles bobblehead sales, Funko Pop vinyl collectibles, Fathead wall decals/cutouts, Outerstuff youth apparel and Party Animals figurines/plush toys.
The two positions that dominated the top 50 were quarterback (21) and wide receiver (12).
After Barkley, each of the next five players were quarterbacks. Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen, who won the 2024 NFL MVP award, was sixth on the list.
In addition to Daniels, four other 2024 first-round quarterbacks made the top 50. Caleb Williams (No. 13) was the only other one in the top 20, followed by Bo Nix (No. 21), Drake Maye (No. 32) and JJ McCarthy (No. 48).
Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was the top-selling defensive player on the list at No. 7 overall, with Micah Parsons coming in two spots behind him. The Lions also had the best-selling receiver, with Amon-Ra St. Brown checking in at No. 8.
Lions fans shelled out for their team after they finished 15-2 in the regular season. Detroit had five players finish in the top 50, tied with the Eagles for the most by a single team.
