Texas Rangers Unveil Jujutsu Kaisen Jersey for July 1 Game vs. Orioles in New Photo

The Texas Rangers pulled off a reveal Thursday that is sure to delight anime fans.

The Rangers unveiled their special-edition jerseys for Jujutsu Kaisen Night on July 1 against the Baltimore Orioles:

The Rangers' Jujutsu Kaisen Night is already sold out. Fans who purchased their tickets will receive the co-branded jersey upon their arrival to Globe Life Field. The team has a slew of Theme Nights planned for the remainder of the season, featuring specials like AEW Wrestling Night, Hello Kitty Night, Barbie Night, Superman Day and much more.

This isn't MLB's first anime collaboration. Earlier this year, the league announced an official collaboration with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Ufotable, the latter of which produced a short video featuring stars like Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani and Chicago Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga.

MLB also revealed a partnership with director Hiroshi Shimizu for a Heroes of the Game anime project, which is described as an "anime journey featuring Shohei Ohtani, Paul Skenes, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto."

The Rangers are third in the AL West with a 27-30 record. The team has lost eight of its last 10 games, including a 2-0 shutout loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Texas will look to get back on track when it welcomes the St. Louis Cardinals (32-34) to town for the opener of their three-game series on Friday.
