Yankees vs. Dodgers Betting Odds, Player Props and Picks for World Series Rematch
The American and National League MVP favorites and the AL and NL Cy Young second favorites will be on display in the World Series rematch between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The three-game weekend set at Dodger Stadium has all the makings of a must-see spectacle. Max Fried is on the mound for the Yankees tonight, while Yoshinobu Yamamoto toes the rubber for the Dodgers on Sunday.
The middle game of the series is where you should target props for both Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani.

10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Friday: Max Fried vs. Tony Gonsolin
Max Fried has been excellent in his first season with the Yankees.
He owns a 7-0 record, 1.29 ERA, and in May, he’s completed seven innings three times in five starts.
Fried is no stranger to making deep starts against the Dodgers. The LA native completed seven innings in two of his last three appearances vs. the Dodgers as a member of the Atlanta Braves. He allowed 10 hits across 20 innings in those starts.
The only blemish for Fried in those games was a home run from Shohei Ohtani on May 5, 2024, a game in which Ohtani had four hits.
The Yankees don’t have much familiarity with Tony Gonsolin. Trent Grisham is the only Yankee hitter with more than 10 at-bats versus Gonsolin from his time with the San Diego Padres.
Gonsolin allowed four earned runs in each of his last two starts. Left-handed hitters have a .294 batting average against him, which sets up former Dodger Cody Bellinger, Grisham and others to be the best players to bet for props.
It’s easy to keep it simple, though, for Friday’s game and bet the Yankees money line with how strong Fried has looked on the mound.
The money line is the better play in this spot just because the Yankees have three one-run wins during their current five-game winning streak.
Pick: Yankees Money Line
Saturday: Will Warren vs. Landon Knack
Will Warren has been a strikeout master for the Yankees in May.
The right-handed hurler had at least seven strikeouts in each of his five May starts and a total of 41 punchouts, including a 10-K game versus the Texas Rangers on May 20.
If there is one weakness to Warren, it comes against lefties, who have three home runs and a .700 OPS against him.
Saturday looks like the best chance for Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and Co. to do damage against a Yankees starter.
Landon Knack hasn’t been as marvelous with the strikeout pitch, but he gave the Dodgers six solid innings against the New York Mets in his last outing and five frames of work vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 19.
Knack’s problems have come against righties, who have five homers and a .291 batting average against him.
With the way the splits line up, an Aaron Judge-Shohei Ohtani total bases and/or home run Same Game Parlay looks enticing for Saturday.
Pick: Aaron Judge/Shohei Ohtani 2+ Total Bases & Home Run SGP, Full Game Over
Sunday: Ryan Yarbrough vs. Yoshinobu Yamamoto
The Dodgers’ significant edge on the mound comes on Sunday with NL Cy Young front-runner Yoshinobu Yamamoto opposing Ryan Yarbrough.
Yamamoto has a 1.97 ERA. In his last home start, he held the Diamondbacks to a single hit over seven innings.
The Japanese right-hander has a 1.86 ERA and a .165 batting average against inside Dodger Stadium.
Yarbrough has been solid since moving into the Yankees rotation with 19 strikeouts and just five earned runs allowed across 20 innings in May.
However, that doesn’t compare to what Yamamoto has done at home this season, so you have to give the Dodgers the edge in the series finale.
With the way Yamamoto is pitching, the Dodgers probably only need two or three runs to win, so at minimum, target the under.
With a lower-scoring game expected, it's better to not risk the run line in case the Dodgers only win by one.
Pick: Dodgers Money Line
