Phillies' Johan Rojas Accidentally Barred from Coors Field by Security Before Game
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Johan Rojas needed a little help getting back to his teammates Thursday after security guards prevented him from returning to the field.
The Athletic's Matt Gelb detailed the proceedings in which security initially refused to let Rojas back onto the field after he went into the stands to make a phone call prior to Thursday's game. The security guards reportedly "did not believe he was a player," and Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler had to go vouch for him.
Rojas entered the day hitting .259 on the season and went 1-for-4 in Wednesday's 9-5 win, which helped Philadelphia improve to 31-18.
