Diamondbacks Unveil New Purple, Teal City Connect Uniforms in Video, Photos

The Arizona Diamondbacks revealed their new City Connect uniforms for the 2025 season on Monday.

The uniforms, which feature purple and teal colors to go along with teal accessories, were unveiled in videos and photos posted on X.

The new uniforms will replace Arizona's previous sand-colored City Connect jerseys that were first introduced for the 2021 season.

The Diamondbacks are bringing back purple and teal coloring with the uniforms released on Monday, the same primary colors that the team wore throughout its first few years as a franchise.

This included Arizona's stretch of three postseason appearances and a World Series title from 1999 through 2002.

“I like them,” Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen said, per Steven Gilbert of MLB.com. “I think they did a good job. When talking to a lot of the people that are immersed in the community, that was one thing that they kind of hoped—that purple and teal would be incorporated back into the uniform.”

The uniforms feature the motto "Arizona Born" written across the collar as well as a patch on the sleeve that includes the Diamondbacks logo over the state flag.

“Our new City Connects are uniquely special to our organization, embodying every facet of what makes us the Arizona Diamondbacks," Diamondbacks CEO Derrick Hall said, via Gilbert. "These uniforms represent a great sense of pride for our history, a celebration of our state’s deep-rooted culture, and notably, a nod to our fans, whose unwavering dedication and passion for this team is depicted in the jerseys’ colors."

Arizona is currently attempting to return to the postseason after its National League pennant victory in 2023, sitting at No. 4 in the NL West standings with a record of 18-16.

The Diamondbacks will wear their new City Connect uniforms for the first time on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
