Deion Sanders Jr. Says Shedeur Was Gifted $1M to Showcase in Photo at NFL Draft Party
Deion Sanders Jr. said on social media Monday that a photo of Shedeur Sanders holding a case of cash, in the aftermath of being drafted by the Cleveland Browns and holding a party to celebrate the moment, was a gift of $1 million dollars.
It was a timely gift, as Sanders' drop into the fifth round of the NFL draft cost him tens of millions of dollars.

For reference, top overall pick Cam Ward is slated to sign a four-year, $48.7 million deal with the Tennessee Titans that includes a $32.1 million signing bonus and a fifth-year team option. Even Jaxson Dart, the No. 25 overall pick to the New York Giants, signed a four-year, $16.9 million deal with an $8.9 million signing bonus and fifth-year team option.
Sanders, on the other hand, was the No. 144 overall pick and will receive a four-year, $4.6 million deal with a $446,533 signing bonus and no fifth-year option. It was an expensive drop for the young quarterback.
