Undrafted Free Agents 2025 Predictions for Isaiah Bond and Top Prospects Available

Erik BeastonApr 27, 2025

The 2025 NFL Draft may be completed but there are still several young, talented college stars without a team, undrafted free agents with the opportunity to pick and choose a potential suitor with whom to continue their dreams of making an NFL squad.

One such a player is Isaiah Bond, one of the fastest prospects in the world and a receiver who has the explosive play-making ability to be a difference maker any time he is on the field.

Which team is his best fit and who are some of the remaining top prospects who could, and should, find a home soon?

Let's take a look.

Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

There are a handful of teams that could benefit from Isaiah Bond's game-breaking speed and reliability in big moments. A wide receiver who can catch a three-yard out route and take it 50 yards for a score, he is among the most explosive players in this year's draft.

Still available as an undrafted free agent, wide receiver-needy teams like the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills would benefit exponentially from a player with the ability to stretch the field and create big plays like Bond can.

They are not the only ones, though.

Both 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan and Rams coach Sean McVay love to get creative offensively and utilize receivers out of the backfield on end-around runs to keep defenses honest.

Bond proved an ability to do that in college, too, delivering a 44-yard gut-punch of a run against Florida in 2024.

He is an explosive multi-faceted weapon for any team that signs him, but look for an experienced head coach with offensive creativity to be the one who compels the front office to make that signing.

Like a certain three-time defending AFC champion.

Prediction: Bond signs with Kansas City

Tommi Hill, CB, Nebraska

Hill is a big, physical cornerback whose plantar fasciitis cost him a significant portions of his 2024 season and, unanswered questions about it, likely led to him joining the list of undrafted free agents.

A big, strong corner with great football IQ who can play the perimeter, he is a player teams would love to be able to develop into someone who can press opposing receivers, disrupt their routes and thus, the passing game as a whole.

His size can be detrimental against smaller, faster wideouts and used against him by experienced veterans, but it is a raw attribute for teams with the luxury of signing and developing a young player.

Gerald Alexander is one of, if not the best, defensive backs coach in football. Now part of the Steelers coaching staff, Hill landing there and learning from him would be a huge assist to his development into an NFL-ready, potential starting cornerback.

A smart player with size and toughness, he fits the Steelers mentality.

Prediction: Hill signs with Pittsburgh

Jared Ivey, EDGE, Mississippi

At six-foot, six-inches and 285 pounds, Ivey looks the part of a disruptive edge rusher in the NFL. He has punishing hands that can jolt offensive lineman and earn him wins at the point of attack.

That he is versatile and not married to a specific match-up on the front line makes him that much more of a potential weapon for teams potentially interested in signing him.

While he has that unmatched hand strength, he does exhibit issues with the bottom half of his body, with flexibility being a concern. That he also lacks that explosive first step that is an absolute must in the NFL when it comes to beating veteran blockers who have been there, done that against other powerful young players, is also an area of improvement.

Still, his issues can be developed by coaching staffs around the league. Any team willing to sign him, work with him through off-season workouts and in training camp, may end up with the steal of the undrafted free agent crop as Ivey has a rawness about him that can be developed and evolved into one of the best rushers in the pros.

A team like the Detroit Lions, who need help opposite Aidan Hutchinson, could benefit from bringing Ivey in and giving him a chance to prove his worth to the organization.

Prediction: Detroit signs Ivey
