Deion Sanders Reflects on 'Heck of a Journey' for Shedeur, Shilo After NFL Draft Slide
The Sanders brothers have found NFL homes and Deion Sanders is a proud father.
Shedeur Sanders went in the fifth round to the Cleveland Browns while Shilo Sanders was not selected but signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.
Following the aftermath of this, Deion reflected on his sons opportunities and labeled it as a "heck of a journey" during a Twitch live stream.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Shedeur Sanders' didn't enter the Draft expecting it would take until Saturday for his name to be called. He was rated as the No. 23 overall player and the No. 2 quarterback in the draft class by Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
Despite these high marks, he ended up being the 144th player selected and the sixth quarterback. The Browns had even selected a different quarterback, southpaw Dillon Gabriel, in the third round.
He should have an opportunity to contend for the Browns' starting role with quarterbacks Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Gabriel. While his slide could be seen as disappointing, he still was selected and will begin his rookie season next fall.
Shilo Sanders was not rated by Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department. He played in six collegiate seasons at South Carolina, Jackson State and Colorado. During his time with the Buffaloes he registered 137 total tackles, five pass deflections, three fumble recoveries and one interception.
He should add some defensive depth to the Buccaneers secondary for at least training camp and will push to make the final roster for 2025.
