
Ohio State Tops Georgia for Most Players Picked from Any CFB Program in 2025 NFL Draft
NFL teams showed some love to the current National Champions.
Ohio State led all collegiate programs with 14 players being selected at the 2025 NFL Draft. This included four first-round picks, three second-round picks and the rest going on Day 3.
Georgia was also well represented with 11 players being selected. This included three first round picks and three Day 2 selections.

While Ohio State slightly edged out Georgia for the school rankings, Georgia's conference, the SEC, reigned supreme among conferences with 79 total players selected.
Emeka Egbuka was the first Buckeye off the board when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him with the 19th overall selection. Offensive lineman Donovan Jackson went five picks later to the Minnesota Vikings, defensive lineman Tyleik Williams went 28th to the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs used the last pick of the first round on offensive tackle Josh Simmons
Other notable Buckeyes who were selected include running backs Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson, who went within three picks of each other in the second round, and quarterback Will Howard, who went to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round
Georgia saw edge rusher Mykel Williams come off the board with the 11th pick, linebacker Jalon Walker go 15th to the Atlanta Falcons and safety Malaki Starks go 27th to the Baltimore Ravens.
While both teams will need to replace the notable talent that departed for the draft, Georgia had the No. 2 2025 recruiting class and Ohio State had the fourth-ranked class, per 247 Sports.
