Horn will now join No. 8 pick Tetairoa McMillan and fifth-round pick Mitchell Evans as new passing options for Young.
Fans are excited to see the Panthers quarterback potentially get some new targets ahead of his third NFL season.
Horn, who ran a 4.46-second 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine, caught 37 passes for 441 yards and one touchdown during his final season at Colorado. He also averaged 10.3 yards per punt return in 2024.
He was ranked as the No. 172 overall prospect and No. 21 wide receiver available on the final 2025 B/R NFL Draft Big Board.
B/R NFL scout Dame Parson compared Horn to Marquise Brown as "a shifty wide receiver with good top speed after the catch."
"Horn projects as a shifty zone beater and yards-after-catch target in the NFL," Parson wrote. "He will probably begin his career as a depth receiver further down the depth chart, but he can be an impact return specialist and special teams ace. NFL teams will love his competitive attitude."
Horn will now look to compete for a place on the Panthers depth chart alongside McMillan as Carolina prepares to compete for an improved position in the NFC South this fall.
