Cam Skattebo, Isaiah Bond's Best Landing Spots After 2025 NFL Draft Day 2

Zach BacharApr 26, 2025

Day 2 of the 2025 NFL draft is officially in the books, but there are still plenty of available players that still can make an instant impact on their future teams.

Four total running backs were selected in the second and third rounds of the 2025 draft, although Arizona State's Cam Skattebo is still on the board.

Among the remaining available wide receivers, Texas wideout Isaiah Bond is one of the notable players still waiting to hear his name called.

Here's a look at some potential landing spots for Skattebo and Bond as the draft wraps up on Saturday.

Cam Skattebo

Skattebo operated as the offensive engine of an Arizona State squad that ended the year with an impressive 11-3 record, making a College Football Playoff appearance.

He rushed for 1,711 yards on 293 carries and also remained a threat in the Sun Devils' passing attack. The 23-year-old hauled in 45 receptions for 605 yards.

Skattebo scored 24 total touchdowns and finished No. 4 in Heisman Trophy voting.

Here are a few teams that could scoop him up on Day 3.

Arizona Cardinals

Skattebo reportedly visited with the Cardinals and could be a late-round draft choice by the team.

Arizona's running back room is a bit crowded, as veteran James Conner agreed to a two-year extension with the team in Oct. 2024. The Cardinals also spent a Day 2 pick on Florida State's Trey Benson during the 2024 draft.

Still, Skattebo could see some playing time as a rookie if Arizona were to draft him.

Chicago Bears

The Bears entered the draft with a need for a running back to complement D'Andre Swift, as new head coach Ben Johnson previously utilized a two-headed rushing attack during his previous tenure as offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions.

Chicago has focused on adding pieces around quarterback Caleb Williams in the 2025 draft, selecting Michigan tight end Colston Loveland in the first round and Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III in the second.

Skattebo could be another young offensive addition for the Bears on Day 3.

Dallas Cowboys

Skattebo's ability to make an impact through the air as well as on the ground could entice the Cowboys, as it isn't difficult to imagine him potentially emerging as a starter in Dallas.

The Cowboys owned the NFL's sixth-worst rushing attack in 2024, signing Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders in free agency.

If Dallas is looking for some youth to add to its running back room, Skattebo could hear his name called when the Cowboys are on the clock at pick No. 149.

Isaiah Bond

Bond looked promising throughout his first two years at Alabama, but he struggled to live up to expectations after transferring to Texas ahead of his 2024 campaign.

In 14 games with the Longhorns, he caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns.

While his production left something to be desired, teams could still take a flier on him over the final three rounds of the draft after he posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.39 seconds at the scouting combine in Indianapolis.

Here are three teams that may pick him up.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers made one of the most notable offseason moves in the NFL, acquiring two-time Pro Bowl wideout D.K. Metcalf in a trade to pair him with George Pickens.

Pittsburgh's depth behind the two is thin, though. Pickens is also entering the final year of his rookie contract and was reportedly involved in trade discussions ahead of the draft

If the Steelers choose Bond, he could earn extended playing time as a No. 3 receiver and establish himself as a long-term piece before the end of the 2025 season.

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle made up for the loss of Metcalf as well as veteran Tyler Lockett by signing Cooper Kupp to a three-year, $45 million contract in free agency. He's expected to start next to Jaxon Smith-Njigba in 2025.

The Seahawks also added veteran Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The 30-year-old only signed a one-year deal, which could pave the way for a potential draft pick such as Bond to emerge as a long-term starter next to Kupp and Smith-Njigba.

Tennessee Titans

The Titans will enter the 2025 season with a fresh face under center after selecting Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

While Ward can lean on experienced options such as Lockett and Calvin Ridley as a rookie, it would also benefit Tennessee to add wideouts that can grow with the quarterback as he adjusts to the NFL landscape.

Bond could be an option.
