The Seattle Seahawks addressed the team's quarterback depth behind Sam Darnold on Friday, selecting Alabama signal-caller Jalen Milroe with the No. 92 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Fans and pundits were excited about their draft choice.
Milroe struggled with inconsistency in the pocket during his final year at Alabama in 2024, as his 64.3 completion percentage and 16 touchdown passes both represented a step down from his 2023 production.
He also threw 11 interceptions.
Still, he continued to showcase his elite athleticism and remained a force on the ground. Milroe ran for 726 yards and 20 touchdowns, recording the second-most rushing touchdowns in the nation among quarterbacks last season.
Entering Day 2, he was listed as the No. 2 quarterback and No. 38 overall player that was still available on the latest big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
B/R NFL Scout Dame Parson highlighted Milroe's athletic ability in his scouting report.
"Overall Milroe's outstanding blend of elite speed/athleticism, physically dense build, and a live arm fits the trend of today's quarterback archetypes," Parson wrote. "As he has shown this season, there are encouraging flashes of development as a pocket passer."
He'll serve as a backup to Darnold, who signed a massive three-year contract worth $100.5 million with Seattle in free agency.
Milroe could still receive some playing time as a rookie in select personnel packages with the threat of his legs, though.
