Abdul Carter says he "learned a lot" from Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons before the New York Giants selected him with the No. 3 pick of the 2025 NFL draft.
When asked Thursday night in Green Bay if he saw any similarity between his own game and Parsons', Carter answered, "Yeah, for sure."
"I learned a lot from Micah, just me being at Penn State, wearing No. 11, we keep that brotherhood tight," Carter said (h/t SNY.)

Parsons played the 2018 and 2019 seasons at Penn State before the Cowboys selected him with the No. 12 pick of the 2021 draft.
Carter competed for the Nittany Lions from 2022 to 2024, ending his college career have led the FBS with 24 tackles for loss during his senior season.
Parsons said on Bleacher Report's draft show that seeing Carter go to the Giants was a "heartwarming moment" for him.
The Cowboys star went on to tell the story of how Carter approached Parsons last year and said he wanted to spend a week training together in New York in order to go in the top five of the 2025 draft.
"Couldn't be happier for the kid, because I saw how hard he worked... he just wanted to absorb the knowledge. He wanted to be great, man. I just can't wait to see him shine," Parsons said.
When asked what it will be like to face Carter twice a year, Parsons said, "It's going to be legendary."
"I understand we're going to have the most elite jersey swap in the history of football," Parsons laughed.
When calling into the draft show later, Carter told Parsons he was interested in wearing Lawrence Taylor's No. 56 for the Giants.
Both No. 56 and Phil Simms' No. 11 have been retired by the Giants, so it remains to be seen what number Carter will be wearing when he faces Parsons and the Cowboys for the first time next season.
