Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
According to the final mock draft from the B/R NFL Scouting Department, the Giants are projected to select Penn State edge-rusher Abdul Carter at No. 3 despite a reported history of interest in quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
While rumors suggest the Giants may look to trade Kayvon Thibodeaux if they don't pick up his fifth-year option, they don't have an immediate need for an edge-rusher. Still, securing a franchise-caliber defender is a looming priority.
"That possibility gives New York's defense a young pass-rusher on a rookie contract to pair with Brian Burns, while securing an excellent defensive line trio with Burns, Carter and Dexter Lawrence for several years to come," B/R scout Matt Holder said.
Meanwhile, the B/R NFL Scouting Department had the Texans taking Oregon offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. with the No. 25 pick.
Following their trade of veteran Laremy Tunsil to Washington, Conerly would be one of the final pieces needed to solidify the offensive line that's tasked with protecting third-year quarterback C.J. Stroud.
