Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter picked Lil Wayne's "Let It All Work Out." "Freestyle" by Rod Wave might be the first song fans hear since Miami quarterback Cam Ward is the presumptive No. 1 overall selection.
Fifteen players will be on hand for Thursday night's festivities in Green Bay, Wisconsin. That's two more than the number for the 2024 draft in Detroit.
Especially in the age of social media, showing up for the draft can be a double-edged sword.
Walking up to the stage, hugging the commissioner, and holding up the jersey of the team that just picked you is a moment that can live forever. There's a chance one or more players from this year's group will wind up experiencing what Will Levis did in 2023 when he fell out of Round 1 altogether.
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is the most notable example. Milroe was omitted from Bleacher Report's final mock draft for the first round, and he ranks 70th overall on B/R's big board.
Don't be surprised if the sounds of Rich Homie Quan's "Walk Thru" aren't echoing outside of Lambeau Field.
