NFL Insider Says There's 'Not a Chance In Hell' Jaxson Dart Falls Out of NFL Draft R1
The first round of the 2025 NFL draft appears to be both the ceiling and the floor for Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
ESPN's Jordan Raanan cited a source who said there's "not a chance in hell he gets out of first round." He also spoke to a former NFL scout who said they "would take him over [Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders]."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Dart and Sanders were both off the board in Round 1 in Bleacher Report's final mock draft. The Cleveland Browns traded up to land Sanders with the No. 20 pick, and Dart went one selection later to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The players' respective stocks have gone in opposite directions during the predraft process.
Once the 2024 season ended, Dart seemed like a long shot for the first round, while Sanders was being mentioned as a candidate for the Browns at No. 2. Now, Dart is leapfrogging Sanders in the eyes of some QB-needy teams.
In his most recent mock draft, The Ringer's Todd McShay said Sanders "is a no-go for head coach Brian Daboll," and he called Dart the "top choice at QB" for the New York Giants coach.
Meanwhile, Adam Schefter of ESPN spoke to an NFL personnel executive who described the New Orleans Saints as "hot and heavy" for Dart.
ESPN's Matt Miller projected Sanders to land with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the 21st pick but added, "I still don't feel great about it" because "there is no consensus on where the Steelers could go in this slot."
We're at a point now where it won't be a shock if Dart is both a Day 1 pick and goes ahead of Sanders. Should that happen, it will cement quite a rise for the Rebels star.
