Malaki Starks Reportedly Ravens' 'Dream Pick' in 1st Round of 2025 NFL Draft
The Baltimore Ravens reportedly envision Georgia safety Malaki Starks as their "dream pick," per ESPN's Matt Miller.
"Starks is Baltimore's dream pick, according to conversations with multiple scouts around the league," Miller wrote.
Starks is ranked fourth overall on the final B/R NFL Scouting Department big board, and he went 13th overall to the Miami Dolphins in the most recent B/R NFL mock draft.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
It's no surprise that the Ravens would want to add a potential defensive superstar. Baltimore has been blocked from making the Super Bowl out of the AFC in the Lamar Jackson era because of the Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs and the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills.
They need more defensive help to slow down those two superstar quarterbacks and their fantastic teams. The Ravens also have a formidable division foe in Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Starks makes sense for Baltimore, but the Ravens are slated to pick No. 27 right now. Starks simply may not fall that far, so Baltimore may need to trade up for him.
But prospects fall all the time in the draft. And if he's sitting there at No. 27, it's hard to envision Baltimore going anywhere else. ESPN's Jamison Hensley picked Starks in the ESPN beat writer mock draft and provided solid reasoning.
We'll see where Starks goes and what direction the Ravens take in Round 1 shortly with the draft beginning Thursday at 8 p.m. ET from Green Bay.
