Tyler Shough Reportedly Has Fans in Rams' Front Office amid Giants, NFL Draft Rumors
Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough's draft stock has drastically risen this offseason, with multiple reports stating NFL teams' and scouts' affinity for the prospect.
Now, another report in that same vein dropped on Wednesday, with ESPN's Jeremy Fowler noting the Los Angeles Rams' interest in him.
"Louisville's Tyler Shough has emerged late, with great arm strength and 6-foot-5 size," Fowler began.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
"He's my No. 2 quarterback," an AFC executive told Fowler.
"And one NFL general manager went as far as to say he would not be surprised if Shough went on Day 1. I've heard that some people with the Rams are very high on Shough (though they don't have a second-round pick), and the Giants have done a lot of work here, too," Fowler concluded.
The Los Angeles Rams hold the No. 26 overall pick in the NFL draft, so if Shough is getting steamed up to potentially being a first-round choice, then that's their time to get him. The Rams already have a great quarterback in Matthew Stafford, but it's fair to wonder how many more years the 37-year-old plays. L.A. could therefore look for a successor, and perhaps Shough is the choice.
The Giants also need to figure out what to do at quarterback long-term. Right now, their QB room is led by two veterans on one-year contracts (Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston). T
They will choose at No. 3 overall but could very well take a blue-chipper, perhaps Penn State edge-rusher Abdul Carter. Maybe the Giants use their second-round pick (No. 34) on a quarterback or trade up from there to choose a quarterback in the back end of the first round.
Regardless, this draft certainly doesn't lack intrigue given the many directions teams can go. The festivities kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday in Green Bay.
