Shedeur Sanders' NFL Draft Landing Spot Reportedly Could Be From No. 3 to 2nd Round
NFL insiders are still undecided as to whether Colorado's Shedeur Sanders will be a first-round pick with one day to go until the 2025 NFL draft.
ESPN's Peter Schrager wrote Tuesday that Sanders "could go anywhere from No. 3 to the Giants to the second round."
Schrager's first-round mock has Sanders going to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21 as the second quarterback selected behind Miami's Cam Ward (No. 1, Tennessee Titans).

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Steelers are still without a QB1 while waiting to hear if Aaron Rodgers is playing next season, and Schrager writes that "Sanders had a good meeting in Pittsburgh when he visited a few weeks back."
Schrager said on a Tuesday appearance on the Pat McAfee Show that the Giants "haven't closed the door on taking Shedeur Sanders" after sending 13 people to Sanders' pro day, attending multiple Colorado games during his senior season, and bringing him for a private workout and dinner the week before the draft.
But Schrager the Giants have made similar moves to scout Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
If the Giants choose to pass on a quarterback at No. 3 and find a signal caller deeper in the draft, and the Las Vegas Raiders don't target Sanders at No. 9, Schrager said there is a possibility Sanders "could slide past the Steelers, and it could go on 'til Friday night if that's the case."
On the other hand, both Sanders and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin have spoken positively about the quarterback's visit with the Steelers.
Sanders told Kay Adams last week the visit was a "10," and Tomlin praised Sanders when speaking to reporters on Tuesday.
"I think the things that stood out were evident in his video. There's a toughness there that doesn't get talked about enough, there's a competitive spirit there that doesn't get talked about enough," Tomlin said.
The Steelers have not yet received an answer regarding their pursuit of Aaron Rodgers, who told McAfee last week he hadn't yet decided if he would play next season.
The quarterback depth chart in Pittsburgh is currently led by Mason Rudolph, with Skylar Thompson as the only other signal caller on the roster.
