Patrick Mahomes Autographs to Be Featured on Panini NFL Cards After 5-Year Hiatus
Patrick Mahomes autographed NFL trading cards are back after a five-year hiatus.
Mahomes autographs will be featured on 2025 Panini products, the collectibles company announced Tuesday.
Licensed cards featuring the Kansas City Chiefs star's autograph were last available through Panini's 2020 sets, according to the brand.

According to Panini, Mahomes' autographed cards "will be featured across Panini’s line of NFL products, and Panini will also work with Mahomes on additional strategic and marketing initiatives."
Panini and Mahomes have partnered together since the star quarterback joined the NFL in 2017, according to the company.
Panini has the NFL license for its product until 2026. The NFLPA attempted to sever the agreement in favor of switching to Fanatics in 2023, but Panini won a $7 million arbitration ruling regarding the attempted cancellation in 2024.
Topps, which is owned by Fanatics, will take over the NFL licenses in 2026. That means 2025 Panini cards may be the last to feature team logos or official league branding.
A 1-of-1 Mahomes card from the 2017 Panini National Treasures set, featuring the NFL logo from one of Mahomes' game-worn jerseys as well as the quarterback's autograph, set a record for football trading cards when it sold for $4.3 million in 2021, per ESPN's Dan Hajducky.
