
Eagles' Jalen Hurts Not Interested in Being 'Face' of NFL After Super Bowl 59 Win
Despite having his star power increase even further after winning Super Bowl LIX, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts isn't interested in the spotlight.
Hurts spoke to Clover Hope of Men's Health and revealed that he doesn't plan on assuming the mantle of the face of the league.
"When I ask Hurts if he’s interested in being the face of the NFL, he says, 'Hmm.' Then a definitive 'No,'" Hope stated.

Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP after leading the Eagles to a dominant 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, who had been hoping to achieve the first three-peat in modern NFL history. Hurts threw for 221 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while adding 72 rushing yards and another score.
While his humble attitude is to be admired, Hurts will be under more of a microscope going forward. The 26-year-old's success will only bring more attention as he tries to sustain it.
Hurts will be motivated to chase another Super Bowl title as the Eagles try to defend their crown during the 2025 campaign.
