Patriots Reportedly Will Do 'Sensible Thing,' Draft Will Campbell amid Jeanty Rumors
The New England Patriots are going to do the "sensible thing" in the 2025 NFL Draft and take offensive tackle Will Campbell with the fourth pick over standout running back Ashton Jeanty, according to Rich Eisen of The Rich Eisen Show.
"I'm hearing the Patriots love (and) adore Will Campbell and are going do the sensible thing, which is protect the kid (Drake Maye) before giving him a weapon to protect him with the run game," Eisen said (2:20 mark).

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The LSU Tigers tackle is listed at 6'6", 323 pounds and would clearly be one of the most "sensible" additions to a Patriots offensive line that allowed Maye to be sacked 34 times last season.
New England has taken key steps to improve its offensive line this offseason, adding veteran right tackle Morgan Moses and center Garrett Bradbury. However, a hole still remains at the left tackle spot—one that Campbell could fill perfectly.
"There is no doubt he will get a shot to remain at tackle in New England's offensive-line room, while also bringing the leadership qualities and demeanor to help usher in a new era of Patriots football," the Bleacher Report Scouting Department wrote.
The 2025 NFL Draft is set to kick off on April 24.
