NFL Coach Says 'Holy S--t!' if Browns Draft Abdul Carter to Join Myles Garrett
The idea of pairing Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett with Penn State standout Abdul Carter in the NFL Draft is leaving some coaches stunned.
“He can change an organization,” one defensive line coach told The Athletic's Bruce Feldman. “I think he’s better than Chop [Robinson], better than Dallas Turner. You put this kid on the other side of Myles Garrett—holy s—! His pad level is high, yes, and sometimes he’ll get washed or pushed past, but everything on film you hate about him, you can fix in a heartbeat.”
Bleacher Report's Scouting Department currently projects Carter to be the first defensive lineman off the board, going No. 3 overall to the New York Giants. But if the 6-foot-3 junior slides up just one spot to No. 2, a nightmare-inducing defensive duo in Cleveland could become a reality.

Carter led the nation last season with 23.4 tackles for loss, along with 12 sacks, 68 total tackles, two forced fumbles and four passes defended. He would join a Browns defense anchored by Garrett, who racked up 14 sacks, 47 tackles and three forced fumbles in another All-Pro campaign.
