Cam Ward's 'Arm Talent is Ridiculous,' Says NFL Coach amid Titans Rumors Before Draft
As the NFL Draft approaches, scouts continue to hype Miami star quarterback Cam Ward.
Of all the praise Ward has gotten, the most might be for his arm. Per The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, one scout went as far as to say Ward will have one of the best strokes in the league as a rookie.
โCamโs stroke is top 10 in the league immediately,โ a passing game coordinator said. โHis arm talent is ridiculous. Thereโs still a lot of growth for him. He has a lot of potential. It just depends on the scheme fit and thereโs a lot of development from a mental standpoint.โ

Ward, who started his career with Incarnate Ward, played two years at Washington State and spent his final year with Miami, threw for 4,313 passing yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions last year. He had the second-most passing yards and most passing touchdowns in Division I last year.
Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department projects Ward to be the top overall pick in this year's draft and land with the Tennessee Titans. He's the No. 9 overall player and the top quarterback on Bleacher Report's Scouting Department's big board.
