Daniel Jeremiah Says 'I Know Teams' Have Matthew Golden as No. 1 WR in 2025 NFL Draft
Don't be surprised if Matthew Golden, and not Tetairoa McMillan, is the first full-time wideout off the board at Thursday's NFL draft.
"I know teams that have Golden as the top wide receiver," NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah said on Monday's The Mina Kimes Show featuring Lenny (19:20 mark), adding that he was talking about the non-Travis Hunter options at the position since the Heisman Trophy winner also plays cornerback.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
That isn't an isolated opinion.
"I like Golden better," a wide receiver coach told The Athletic's Bruce Feldman while comparing him to McMillan. "He's just a better receiver with a different type of speed and acceleration. When you see him against Georgia and Arizona State, he's got a gear that most people don't have. He's super strong and makes catches in the end zone that are straight hands catches."
But it isn't the consensus. The B/R NFL Scouting Department has McMillan as its top-ranked wideout and No. 8 on its big board, while Golden is the second wideout on the board at No. 21. And there are plenty of folks who love Ohio State's Emeka Egbuka as well.
Time will tell how the board shakes out. But don't be surprised if Golden is the first full-time wideout to hear his name called on Thursday night.
