Dillon Gabriel, Dylan Sampson Among Mel Kiper's Favorite Prospects in 2025 NFL Draft
ESPN NFL draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. included quarterback Dillon Gabriel and running back Dylan Sampson as two of his favorite prospects entering the 2025 NFL draft.
While Kiper believed that Gabriel would hear his name called on Day 3 of the draft, he was still impressed with the signal-caller.
In 14 appearances for Oregon in 2024, Gabriel completed 72.9 percent of his throws for 3,857 yards and 30 touchdowns compared to a mere six interceptions. He also scored seven times on the ground, finishing No. 3 in Heisman Trophy voting.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Gabriel's age could prevent him from getting selected earlier than his projected range in the draft, as he'll be 25 years old before the 2025 regular season comes to a close.
As for Sampson, he's coming off a breakout year at Tennessee.
After amassing 1,001 combined rush yards through his first two seasons with the Volunteers, he picked up 1,491 yards on the ground in 2024. He also scored 22 touchdowns.
On the latest big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, Gabriel was ranked as the No. 10 quarterback available in the upcoming draft class while Sampson was listed as the No. 4 running back prospect.
The 2025 NFL draft will begin on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
