The second-ranked Sooners came into the day as the favorite and led throughout the majority of the meet. No. 4 Utah finished in second place, No. 5 UCLA finished third and No. 7 Missouri rounded it out in fourth place.
It was the Sooners' seventh National Championship in program history and the first since 2023. A big key to this success was star gymnast Jordan Bowers, who scored high on the beam (9.9375), floor (9.925) and bars (9.8875).
Other notable performers for the Sooners include Faith Torrez, Lilly Pederson and Addison Fatta and Audrey Davis
The Sooners weren't the only ones who had strong performances, as UCLA's Jordan Chiles showed off some of the skills that got her on the 2024 U.S. Olympic team.
Missouri's Helen Hu and Utah's Ana Padurariu also had solid days and finished their seasons on a strong note.
Still, the Sooners ran the day and were rewarded their third title in the last four seasons for the efforts.
