Where Shedeur Sanders, Dart and More QBs Are Being Selected in 2025 NFL Mock Drafts
They got next.
And next starts very, very soon.
The 2025 NFL draft is merely days away, and, as per usual, all eyes are on the upcoming quarterbacks. It's not a particularly loaded class of signal-callers, but there are multiple potential difference-makers in the mix. And if anyone pops at the league's most important position, that's always a big deal.
The actual picks might not be coming in quite yet, but the mock draft world is bustling. So, we're perusing several of these expert projections to find where the top quarterbacks in the class are landing.
Not Quite Consensus on Cam Ward at No. 1

Three out of four mock drafters agree: Cam Ward will be joining the Tennessee Titans at the top pick on Thursday night. At least, that's how the latest mocks from the B/R NFL Scouting Department, NFL.com's Chad Reuter and CBS Sports' Tom Fornelli all see it.
"[Ward] reminds me a bit of successful 2004 rookies Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix because of his extensive college experience (57 starts) and willingness to make plays from the pocket or on the move," Reuter wrote. "... He'll be the quarterback Tennessee needs to compete in the AFC."
The lone dissenter here is The Ringer's Danny Kelly, who mocked Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter to Tennessee at No. 1 and had Ward landing with the Cleveland Browns at No. 2.
"The Deshaun Watson era in Cleveland is all but over, so the Browns look to the future here, grabbing a highly experienced and versatile signal caller in Ward," Kelly wrote. "A hyper-confident, well-rounded passer, Ward gives the Browns a chance to finally solve the quarterback position."
Shedeur Sanders Goes No. 7 or Sooner

Shedeur Sanders' draft stock has been a little all over the place during mock draft season, but he might be comfortably settling into the top 10.
In these four mocks, he didn't even have to sweat out his status as a top-10 pick.
Sanders went earliest in Fornelli's mock, which sent him to the New York Giants at No. 3. Fornelli cautioned that selection "makes little sense to me" but added "it also seems likely." In Fornelli's opinion, New York has "invested too much time and energy into Sanders this offseason for it to be some kind of head fake."
Reuter and the B/R crew both mocked Sanders at No. 6, with the former having the Las Vegas Raiders snatch him up there and the latter mocking a trade with the New Orleans Saints into that spot. Kelly, meanwhile, sent Sanders to the New York Jets at No. 7.
Jaxson Dart Is All over the Board

Throughout the predraft process, debates have raged over whether there would be two or three quarterbacks taken in the first round. That debate clearly continues.
Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart, largely regarded as the third-best quarterback in this class, wasn't a first-round pick for Kelly, but Dart went ninth overall to the New Orleans Saints in Reuter's mock.
"I considered Dart at this spot even before we learnedย Derek Carr's 2025 availability is in doubt, thanks toย a shoulder injury," Reuter Dart would be a good fit with new head coach Kellen Moore, distributing passes from the pocket and running for tough yardage when required in a way that might remind Moore of QBs he's coached in the NFL before, likeย Dak Prescott,ย Justin Herbertย andย Jalen Hurts."
The B/R scouting crew, meanwhile, had the Cleveland Browns trading up to take Dart with the 24th pick. Fornelli, finally, had the New Orleans Saints trading into the 29th spot to grab Dart.
