Jalen Milroe 'May Be The Only QB' Faster Than Lamar When He Makes NFL, Browns GM Says
Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry believes Alabama's Jalen Milroe might be able to outrun Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson by the time he makes it to the NFL.
"Jalen, he's got rare physical talent. When he gets to the NFL, he may be the only quarterback who's faster than Lamar Jackson," Brown said at the 25:30 mark of his Thursday press conference, adding with a laugh: "Don't tell Lamar I said that, please."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Berry continued: "He's got rare physical gifts. He's strong, he's fast, he's got a really strong arm, and any system that you build around him you want to take advantage of the fact that he has things that no other players at the position have."
Milroe ran the 40-yard-dash for scouts at Alabama's pro day, which the school reported as an unofficial 4.37 seconds and the SEC Network clocked at 4.40 seconds.
He is ranked as the No. 77 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback available on Bleacher Report's latest 2025 NFL Draft Big Board. The most recent B/R mock draft has him going to the New York Giants at No. 34.
The Browns have Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and an injured Deshaun Watson in their quarterback room as well as 10 picks in the upcoming draft.
Those picks include the No. 2, No. 33, No. 67, No. 94 and No. 104 selections. Even if the franchise passes on a quarterback with the second pick, Berry could decide to target a developmental prospect later in the draft.
Cleveland may not be the only franchise interested in adding Milroe next weekend, however. In addition to the Browns, the former Alabama quarterback has reportedly held Top 30 visits with the New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL Trade Rumors' draft visit tracker.
The 2025 NFL draft kicks off next Friday in Green Bay.
