Rams to Conduct 2025 NFL Draft From Los Angeles Fire Department Air Operations

The Los Angeles Rams' headquarters for the 2025 NFL draft is unique.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Rams will conduct their draft from Los Angeles Fire Department Air Operations.

The Rams will convert a room within LAFD Air Operations to serve as general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay’s draft headquarters while an adjacent hangar will be used as space for coaches, scouts, team personnel and media on-site during the draft (via Schefter).

LAFD Air Operations will remain fully operational throughout the draft.

“Drafting from LAFD Air Operations is a powerful reminder of what it means to represent Los Angeles,” Rams president Kevin Demoff said, via Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic. “Since the wildfires devastated our region in January, we have looked to bring LA together to help with the recovery efforts, raise the spirits of those impacted, and shine a light on our first responders."

The Rams have donated roughly $2 million to relief efforts following devastating wildfires that affected Southern California, per the team's official website.

Los Angeles' 2025 wild card playoff matchup with the Minnesota Vikings was moved to Arizona due to safety concerns caused by the fires.

LAFD Air Operations' recreation room is also receiving a renovation as part of the team's draft location decision. Prior to Day 2 of the draft, the Rams will also welcome first responders from throughout the region who assisted with the fires for a "chalk talk" with McVay and other team executives.

Los Angeles is looking to build upon a divisional-round playoff appearance, owning the No. 26 overall pick in the draft.

The first round will begin on April 24.
